Over A Decade of Growth
History
Warriors was established in 2011 as a Breaking/Breakdance Crew, by two brothers, Kelvin and Juan Carlos Enamorado. After experiencing setbacks from the community and watching many of their friends leave the country due to the endemic violence and poverty that plagued their neighborhood, they knew Warriors could provide a lot more for their community. Art and dance had become such a big pillar of their professional development that they sought to bring that foundation to thousands of children. Done in hopes to keep them away from gang violence and provide different alternatives to the forced migration that a lot of youth in Honduras go through.
In 2016, Warriors officially became a non-profit and has continued growing its mission year by year. Warriors Zulu Nation uses hip-hop dance and music, to attract young people with common interests to create a safe and supportive community. They have offered artist workshops on breakdancing, rapping, graffiti, photography, and chess
